Which trending charts update most often?
The 20 highest-traffic markets — United States, India, Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, Russia and others — are pulled from the YouTube Data API roughly every six hours. Remaining countries serve a curated snapshot instead, which keeps API quota available for the markets people actually search for.
Is YouTubePre free, and do I need an account?
It is free and there is no signup. Your queue, favourites and watch history are kept in your browser's localStorage only — nothing is stored on our servers. Playback happens in the official YouTube or Dailymotion player, so the original creator still gets the view.
